• Mercedes Mone began her wrestling career training in Woburn, Massachusetts in 2008 and made her official debut on August 8, 2010 on the independent circuit. She competed in promotions like Chaotic Wrestling, where she won the Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Championship and held it for a then-record 378 days.

• In 2012, she signed with WWE under the ring name Sasha Banks and was assigned to their developmental brand NXT. She became the NXT Women’s Champion and, alongside Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley, was instrumental in ushering in the Women’s Evolution in WWE.
